Spring is my favourite time of year to be in the forest. A magical thing happens and you have to be there to see it because it doesn't last. You can't say oh i'll do that next week, I have to go and pick up a few things and go shopping. This spectacle waits for no one and it truly is magic to behold. Flowers pop up every where,the whole forest floor is covered with them. Bulbs are a deciduous forest floor plants and they have a specific role. The bulb portion of the plant has everything stored to quickly grow the plant, flower, pollinate and then when the leaves come out on the trees and there is no more light, that's it,all done. 
Next sunny day give it a try. You can always shop tomorrow or a rainy day
