About Don Montgomery

Don has been crafting elegant, time enduring, functional furniture for over 30 years. A self-taught woodworker with a passion
to create furniture that reflects his love for nature and beauty.  Growing up in the countryside on the outskirts of Guelph, Ontario, he spent much of his youth exploring the woods and marshlands close to home. Don continues his strong relationship with the outdoors by trail running, skiing and snorkeling.


 Inspired by every possible combination of colours, hues and shapes that nature has to offer Don creates each unique piece with thought and care. To bring his visions to reality, he uses hand tools that he has created to complete each new concept honouring both the wood and by-gone woodworking traditions.
